Poompuhar, the well-known brand name of The Tamilnadu Handicrafts Development Corporation (THDC), has been serving Tamil Nadu’s native artists and craftspeople since its inception in July 1973. Poompuhar is a one-of-a-kind handicrafts store due to the efforts made to expand the business and its importance in the Indian handicrafts industry. We have about 15 salespeople at the show.
