The large building in the center is the Samadhi Mandir, which houses Sai Baba’s samadhi. Before entering the Samadhi Mandir, it’s customary to visit Dwaraka Mai and Chavadi. Dwaraka Mai refers to the simple mud-brick masjid where Sai Baba used to reside in Shirdi. It is believed that burning offerings in the “Dhuni” burns away one’s sins. Baba is said to have burned the sins of others in this Dhuni every day. Just like in Sheeradi, Dwaraka Mai in this temple houses the grinding stone used by Baba, his handkerchief, and other belongings.

SOUTH SAI BABA TEMPLE:
After seeking blessings from Baba, you can visit the shrines of Raja Ganapathy, Krishna, Dattatreya, Lord Shiva, and Lord Anjaneya. Ample paid parking is available in front of the temple. There are also toilet facilities and shops nearby. Gurusthan refers to the Vepa tree where Sai Baba meditated upon his arrival in Sheeradi. The current temple structure was built around this tree by Gurusthan and later inaugurated in 2020. It’s important to note that you don’t need to go to Sheeradi to visit Sai Baba.
